SRI is a trans femme DJ, producer, and vocalist based in Brooklyn. Diagnosed with cancer at 9. By 17, she had survived five relapses. Through every hospital stay, every treatment, every hard stretch of waiting, music was the one thing that kept her grounded and moving forward.
Her sound braids tamil heritage with jersey club, house, and the global club music of the diaspora. Past and future in the same bar. Joy and power on the same dancefloor. Healing in motion. Every set an offering back to the music that saved her.
